A brand new KastKing 20L dry bag retails for roughly 18 dollars online. Tack on a 6 dollar deduction for used cosmetic scuffs and missing original packaging, and fair market value caps out at 12 dollars. Paying 15 dollars for a pre-owned plastic bag in Bayside is barely saving a cup of coffee. A KastKing 20L dry bag recently sold on Mercari for exactly $13.00, but in this city buyers pay a $2.00 premium just to keep gear dry on the Hudson, pushing market value to $15.00. I am staring at this two dollar adjustment in total disbelief because it is literally just a piece of welded PVC.
