Peugeot P8

Should you drift it

Vintage steel Peugeot road bikes in rideable condition typically command $150 to $200 in the New York City commuter market. At $100 with an included lock and no immediate critical repairs needed, it represents solid value for an entry-level urban runabout. Recent NYC Craigslist listings for vintage 1980s Peugeot Carbolite 10-speeds range between $100 and $200 depending on condition, with a stock 10-speed example listed in Brooklyn for $169. Reconciling this data with the earlier appraisal range confirms a stock fair market value of $175, making an asking price below this threshold a strong value for a complete commuter setup.
