Cosmetic frame scuff ($15) A new Brilliant L Train retails near $650, giving it a baseline NYC resale value of $390 in clean condition. Factoring in a minor $15 deduction for the single noted cosmetic scuff yields an adjusted fair market value of $375. At an asking price of $350, this represents a solid deal for a low-maintenance city commuter. Recent local comps include a like-new listing in Long Island City priced at $600 and a regional Craigslist post at $345 against a $749 retail price. Presenting in like-new condition with no visible scuffs, belt wear, or mechanical defects, value is preserved with a standard NYC commuter premium applied.
