GT GTB

Should you drift it

Vintage GT GTB track frame and original fork hold cult collector status in the track bike scene, commanding roughly $900 to $1,000 in solid condition. With no visible structural damage in the image, the asking price of $1,400 sits above average fair market value for a frame and fork set alone. Recent secondary market transactions across NYC and regional track forums show GT GTB framesets consistently trading between $900 and $1,000, while complete builds command $1,100 to $1,300 depending on component specs. Factoring in a localized NYC demand premium alongside typical depreciation on non-stock wear components, fair value settles at $1,150, making the $1,400 asking price somewhat inflated.
