Should you drift it
A baseline value of $260 reflects an entry-level aluminum Giant road bike from the mid-2000s in clean working order. Visual inspection confirms cracking/aging decals on the frame, though mechanics and drivetrain appear well-maintained with fresh bar tape. The $320 asking price is slightly above market valuation for this older 3x8 model. Stock 2004 Giant OCR 3 road bikes consistently sell between $160 and $220 in regional listings, with well-maintained examples in nearby Kingston and New Brunswick fetching $275 to $350. Applying the standard NYC urban commuter premium elevates the base valuation, but cosmetic decal aging counterbalances minor routine upgrades like new bar tape. A finalized market value of $260 aligns with comparable local sales for mid-2000s 3x8 entry-level aluminum road bikes in ready-to-ride condition.
