Cosmetic paint scratches and scuffs Standard aluminum rear racks sell for around $35 brand new. Given visible paint rub and scuffs along the frame, fair resale value in the NYC market sits around $25. The asking price of $40 is high for a pre-owned basic rear rack. Brand new Fuji commuter rear racks list for $59 online, while used alloy cargo racks in good condition average $15 to $20 nationally. Strong demand in the NYC commuter market raises used rack values slightly, leaving fair value at $30 with no visible structural defects reported.
