Vintage blue anodized Mavic Cosmos wheelsets typically command around $150 in good condition. The inclusion of low-wear Continental Gatorskin tires adds approximately $75 in value, bringing total market worth to $225. At $250, this set represents a reasonable fair price given the immaculate condition of the brake tracks. Local NYC Craigslist listings for vintage blue anodized Mavic Cosmos wheelsets with Gatorskin tires ask $250, while national eBay comps for the rare anodized wheels range from $180 to $275. The original valuation correctly attributes $150 to the wheelset, $75 to the low-wear Continental tires, and applies a modest NYC local market bump for pristine, unworn brake tracks.
