Unbranded heavy-duty chain locks with standard padlocks typically resell around 35 dollars in the NYC market. The asking price of 50 dollars is somewhat high for a non-brand-name security chain set in like-new condition. No condition deductions are required since the lock and sleeve appear fully intact. Unbranded heavy duty bike chain lock sets sell for between 20 and 30 dollars on NYC Craigslist and local classifieds in like-new condition. A slight NYC location adjustment brings fair market value to 35 dollars. No condition deductions are necessary as the sleeve and lock are fully intact without visible wear.
