Should you drift it
A classic Paramount Series 3 PDG road bike with a quality chromoly frame typically fetches around $380 in the NYC vintage market. With fresh tires, new bar tape, a new saddle, and no mechanical repairs needed, the $320 asking price is a solid deal. National listings and sold comps for a Schwinn Paramount Series 3 PDG in good condition average $350, with complete builds ranging between $300 and $400. Applying a 20 percent New York City market adjustment for vintage steel road bikes sets fair market value at $425. Standard frame scuffs and light wear fit good condition without requiring component repair deductions.
