Pinarello Unknown

Should you drift it

Vintage Italian road frames like this Pinarello with Campagnolo components command a strong baseline value around $550 in the NYC market. While the rear derailleur has been swapped to a basic Shimano SIS unit and the frame displays minor cosmetic paint wear, the overall build remains in solid, functional shape with a recent tune-up. At $450, it represents a great deal for a classic steel road bike in high-demand frame size. Recent regional listings for 1980s steel Pinarello road bikes typically start around $650 to $700 nationally, supporting a baseline value near $550 in the NYC local market once accounting for the non-period Shimano SIS rear derailleur swap and minor frame scuffs.
