missing shoe cleats Speedplay pedals typically sell used for around $60 to $80 in the NYC market. A $10 to $15 deduction is applied since shoe cleats are not included. At the asking price of $15, this set represents an exceptional deal. Recent NYC local listings on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist show used Speedplay pedals pricing around $30 to $45, while national eBay comps without cleats settle in the $40 to $50 range. Factoring in the high-demand NYC cycling market premium and deducting for missing shoe cleats, the revised fair market value reconciles at $60. With no physical defects noted, the $15 asking price represents an exceptional bargain well below true resale value.
