Unbranded/open-mold carbon risk adjustment Generic unbranded carbon road frames imported directly typically sell online between $400 and $500. Without a known manufacturer warranty or structural history, resale value in NYC sits around $450. The asking price of $600 is high for an unbuilt open-mold frameset. Unbranded carbon road framesets typically fetch between $400 and $500 on local secondary markets. Applying a slight NYC regional adjustment for high local demand keeps fair value right at $450. No visible defects or wear were noted, but the $600 asking price remains high for an unbuilt, unbranded open-mold frame.
