Medici Pro Strada

Should you drift it

Non-period correct cruiser/bullhorn handlebar setup Cost of restoring proper vintage road drop bars and levers A classic 1980s Medici frame carries a realistic NYC baseline of $700 in decent shape. Somebody slapped bright yellow cruiser bars onto a vintage Italianate road frame and expects a huge premium for it. Factoring in $100 to restore standard drop bars and shifters drops fair market value straight down to $600. National comps for a 1980 Medici Pro Strada in good condition run between $450 on Craigslist and $650 on eBay for complete builds. Tacking on a 15% NYC urban demand bump pushes our baseline up to $750. I am auditing every paint nick and lug detail line item before I let anyone overcharge for Columbus steel.
