Surly 24 Pack Racks retailed for around $160 new and hold value well on the NYC used market. Including the official recall safety hardware resolves the main liability for this V1 model and keeps its resale value around $95. At $70, this listing represents a great deal for a heavy-duty front rack. Recent secondary listings for the Surly 24-Pack front rack average $80 to $95 nationally against a $155 retail price. Applying a 15% NYC market premium for dense commuter demand places the fair value at $105. The unit retains full structural integrity with complete mounting hardware and only minor surface scuffing from regular use.
