Planet Bike Eco Rack

Should you drift it

Missing mounting hardware Surface scuffs and wear The Planet Bike Eco Rack retails for around $30 brand new with all required mounting hardware included. Because this unit is missing its mounting stays and hardware, a buyer will need to source separate mounting parts or adapters. Accounting for missing mounting parts and visible surface scuffs, the estimated fair value is around $15, making the $22 asking price steep. Local NYC classified listings show complete used commuter rear racks priced between $15 and $25, with an identical missing-hardware Eco Rack specifically listed in Brooklyn for $22. Because a buyer must spend $10 to $15 on replacement mounting stays and hardware, deducting for those missing parts sets the realistic market value at $15.
