A typical 1990s Specialized Rockhopper baseline sits around $300 in standard vintage condition. In the NYC market, exceptional paint quality, fresh cabling, new integrated shifters, and a complete tune-up add roughly $75 in value. At an asking price of $400, it is fairly priced for a turn-key commuter or gravel conversion build. Stock vintage Specialized Rockhoppers typically list around $200 to $250 across NYC local listings and nearby markets. Adding the verified local premium for like-new condition, fresh components, and a full tune-up brings fair market value to $375.
