Worn saddle replacement needed ($50) Drivetrain tune-up, wear, and cable refresh ($150) A boutique Seven titanium frame with high-end additions like a Chris King headset, titanium stem, titanium seatpost, and Mavic Ksyrium wheels establishes a strong baseline market valuation near $1550 in NYC. Factoring in $200 of necessary deductions for a complete cable service, drivetrain refresh, and saddle replacement brings the adjusted fair value to approximately $1350. At an asking price of $1200, this listing offers solid value for a premium titanium chassis project. Recent secondary sales for 2000s Seven Axiom titanium builds with Campagnolo Record components range from $1200 to $1650 nationally, with premium urban markets like NYC yielding slight uplifts on boutique titanium frames. Reconciling national stock frame sales with the prior calculation confirms that the high-end titanium cockpit, Chris King headset, and Mavic wheel upgrades offset standard wear, maintaining a net used valuation of $1350.

"Seven Titanium Road/Race Bike – 58cm – Chris King – Mavic Ksyrium $1,200$1,400 Listed 3 weeks ago in New York, NY Door pickup Seven titanium road/race bike, size 58cm. This was my race bike and has been ridden extensively. I’m selling it as a high-quality titanium platform for someone who appreciates older race bikes and wants to refresh the drivetrain to their preference. The Seven titanium frame is the centerpiece here. It has the classic raw/brushed titanium finish, traditional road-race geometry and a carbon fork. Titanium makes this a bike that can be rebuilt and ridden for many more years. Highlights / components: * Frame: Seven titanium * Size: 58cm * Fork: Carbon * Headset: Chris King — recently replaced at a cost of approximately $400 * Stem: Titanium — approximately $700 when purchased * Wheelset: Mavic Ksyrium * Drivetrain: Campagnolo 10-speed * Front derailleur: Campagnolo Record * Rear derailleur: Campagnolo * Crankset: Campagnolo 10-speed double * Shifters: Campagnolo Ergopower * Rim brakes * Titanium seatpost * Bottle cages included PLEASE READ REGARDING CONDITION: This is an older, heavily ridden race bike and I’m representing it accordingly. It is not being sold as a freshly serviced, ready-to-race bicycle. The titanium frame itself presents well for its age and shows the normal cosmetic wear expected from years of use. Components show significant use and age. The saddle is heavily worn and should be replaced. More importantly, the drivetrain and cables are due for replacement/service. I would recommend that the buyer plan on a drivetrain refresh and new cables/housing rather than purchasing this expecting a turnkey bike. I have intentionally left the bike in its current configuration rather than installing inexpensive replacement parts. It gives the next owner the choice of restoring the original Campagnolo setup, installing a newer mechanical groupset, or building the frame into whatever they want. The Chris King headset was recently replaced and is brand new. The titanium stem is also a particularly nice and valuable component. This bike has been raced and ridden hard. The wear is real, visible and reflected in the price. I’m including detailed photos rather than trying to hide any of it. For someone looking for a pristine garage queen, this isn’t it. For someone looking for a real Seven titanium race bike with some excellent components and a frame worth rebuilding around, this could be a very cool project. Size: 58cm. Selling as pictured.
