Should you drift it
Who pays six hundred dollars for a used track bike when the NYC baseline for a TRKLRD complete is $425? Even adding a $25 bonus for the Gatorskin tire and carbon drop handlebars only gets us to a $450 valuation. Asking $600 for this is absolute insanity. National like-new comps for the Throne TRKLRD complete hover around $490 off the $799 original MSRP, but you have to factor in the ridiculous 12% NYC fixed-gear street demand tax that slaps an extra $60 onto local listings. Look, nobody in Brooklyn is letting a pristine track frame go for suburban prices, so $550 is the absolute penny-exact ceiling I will sanction before my stomach starts turning.
