Discontinued silver SRAM Omnium cranksets command a high resale value due to strong demand among track and fixed-gear enthusiasts. Given the good overall condition and inclusion of a 48T chainring, the fair market value aligns right at $300 in the NYC area. The $299 asking price reflects current market conditions accurately. Used stock SRAM Omnium cranksets in good condition typically trade between $250 and $275 on national secondary markets, with discontinued silver finishes fetching toward the top end. Factoring in the high local demand across New York City fixed-gear marketplaces along with the included 48T chainring, the fair market value reconciles directly at $300.
